About
Isaac Alfred is a third year photography student studying at Canterbury Christ Church University and founder of Eyes Images; a platform for visual storytelling.
The relationship between Time and photographic practice is a regular theme in his work and originates from a childhood fascination of how the various historical depictions of family members differed from his perception of the people around him, resulting in an early understanding of the ephemeral.
The artist's experimental approach combines analog and digital photography with animations and mixed media to produce unique imagery; most notable is the reconstruction of A Phonebox and ATM using Xylene prints on Post-it notes to explore the temporary nature of technology; Previously Exhibited in the Turner Contemporary, Sydney Cooper and with the London alternative photography collective at The Margate School.
